NEED A HAPPY DAY

NO news, NO politics, NO sad or bad. One sweet day to breath-e-e and thank the heavens that I'm alive and well.

Sad

The really sad thing about the NFL protesters is what they are missing. When I hear the anthem, see the flag waving, I always feel this lump in my throat and feel such a deep emotion of patriotism. I look around me and wish I could pull each and all to me in unity, love and appreciation for our country and all it gives us.

Is everything perfect? No. Do folks have a right to protest? Yes.
But, to be so bitter and angry and hate filled that you can't see one place and moment in time to be unified with your fellow citizens---I'm so sorry that these folks don't get to experience that deep connection to other humans that are living with them in America.
