MORE FOOTBALL PLAYERS PROTEST DURING NATIONAL ANTHEM

Sad

The really sad thing about the NFL protesters is what they are missing. When I hear the anthem, see the flag waving, I always feel this lump in my throat and feel such a deep emotion of patriotism. I look around me and wish I could pull each and all to me in unity, love and appreciation for our country and all it gives us.

Is everything perfect? No. Do folks have a right to protest? Yes.
But, to be so bitter and angry and hate filled that you can't see one place and moment in time to be unified with your fellow citizens---I'm so sorry that these folks don't get to experience that deep connection to other humans that are living with them in America.

Are People Just Born Stupid?

OR do they work at it for a long time?

It's your choice...you decide

I deeply believe in manners and courtesy. But unfounded political correctness and ridiculous rules are just plain assinine in my opinion

Two Tips

Whether you're a serious prepper or just a person that believes in having some extras for an emergency, over buying isn't a good thing. When you are trying to build up some supplies, buying in bulk can be a good way to create a reasonable amount of stores. Reasonable is the key word here.

You are still living in this world . Once you have decided what your area of storage is and you have filled it, do not keep buying and stacking. You need to have a limit and you need to learn to "use and replace". Preparing can become an obsession and over buying can become clutter. Quit buying in bulk, unless you're running an orphanage.

The second tip that I like is "just because it catches your eye and you can afford it, doesn't mean it comes home to live with you." When you are tempted by something---whether it's clothes, household décor or items, even outdoor plants or decorations---ask yourself, where am I going to put this? what am I willing to get rid of as a trade off? how much of my time or energy will this require? do I really have better things to spend my dollars on?

We all need lots of things, some are useful, some are just for our pleasure. More stuff just gets buried in more stuff and fills our space and our minds with clutter.
